On 12th October, PTVAIM organised a conference on Empowering Women towards Leadership. It was held in association with Maharashtra State Commission for Women (MSCW).
Dr. (Mrs.) Snehalata Deshmukh, Former Mumbai University Vice Chancellor and Chief Mentor at PTVAIM, opened the conference. The event was graced by many prominent personalities like Mrs. Varsha Pawar Tawde, National Secretary, Bhartiya Stree Shakti and counsellor, Dr. Manjusha Molwane, Member Secretary, MSCW, Dr. Nishigandha Naik, Director, Haffkine Institute of Research, RJ Archana from Radio City, Dr. Praful Tambe, Programme executive, All India Radio, Mrs. Swati Kulkarni, Vice president and Fund manager at UTI AMC, Dr. Sadhana Ghaisas, founder and Director of SDG’s Genetic Centre.

Discussions focused on gender sensitivity and work-life balance.

The event featured 45 research papers, published in the UGC-listed journal AJANTA (ISSN: 2277-5730), and aimed to unite women from various sectors to inspire and support each other.
