PTVAIM Alumni Association (PAA) was established in June 2018 under the Societies Act, indicating a commitment to maintaining strong connections between Alumni and Institute. Our Alumni render their services to the Institute in various capacities including accepting assignments as visiting faculty, experts for mock interviews, mentors to the current students through interactions, guest faculty, recruiters, counsellor, etc.

Mock Interviews
Every year, alumni working in different sectors in the industry are invited as panellists to conduct mock interviews for our students. The panellists give individual feedback on the students’ domain knowledge, communication skills, and body language. Students are also given guidance to prepare for basic interview questions like introduction and explaining work or internship experience.

Alumni Connect- The Café System
At PTVAIM, we practice a unique concept of Alumni Connect – The Cafe System wherein the alumni from different batches come together and spend time with our current students by sharing their professional journey, the challenges they faced while transitioning from student life to corporate life, etc. thereby providing valuable insights to help the current students prepare for corporate world.

Alumni Interaction
Alumni working in senior positions are invited to interact with the students to guide the students with respect to current trends in their sector, different job profiles, certifications, and key competencies that are required to make a career in their domain. This gives the students an opportunity to interact and clear their doubts with respect to that field.

Guest Lectures
Our Alumni proactively engage with our students by delivering guest lectures covering aspects related to Career Opportunities, CV designing, Stress management etc. and helping our students understand theoretical concepts by using examples and anecdotes from their corporate experience. Students get a holistic understanding of different industry concepts which enhances their overall management education experience.

Annual Alumni Meet
PTVAIM hosts its annual Alumni Meet- Samprukta where alumni from various full-time and part-time batches come together. The Alumni get the opportunity to reconnect, interact with friends, engage with faculty members, appreciate, and take pride in the progress and overall growth of the Institute. Samprukta reflects a sense of commitment to maintaining strong connections with alumni and keeping them informed about the Institute’s developments.
